EAGLE RIVER FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT

ERFPD

The Eagle River Fire Protection District (ERFPD) is a paid fire department. They have eight stations which include Station 5 in Minturn, Station 6 on Eagle Rd in Eagle-Vail, Station 7 (headquarters) on Benchmark Rd in Avon, Station 8 in Wildridge, Station 11 in Beaver Creek, Station 12 in Edwards, Station 15 in Cordillera and Station 16 in Upper Cordillera.

The response area for ERFPD includes I-70 from Wolcott MM 157 to Dowd Junction MM 171.  ERFPD responds from the intersection of Highway 6 and Wolcott Spur Rd south into Bellyache Ridge and Red Sky Ranch.  On Hwy 6, ERFPD responds from the intersection of the Wolcott Spur Rd and Highway 6 east through the Dowd Bridge overpass to the summit of Tennessee Pass (MM 166 Hwy 24).

Beaver Creek Public Safety functions as a representative of ERFPD and responds to Beaver Creek addresses on fire alarms and medicals along with ERFPD.
